When you decide to invest in a real estate project, first of all you need to like the picture and the story, then you need to have the vision to anticipate the future of that building and area, then you need to make the calculations, based on a conservative projection and you need to think if you also like what this future will look like in a few years. For all this you need help. The developer and their sales guys need to help you to take the decision and for this they need to be credible, you need to trust them, to get to know them as good as possible and you need to like them and to be convinced that they are honest, that they know what they are doing and they are also flexible. You need to become a team and also as friends as possible, because you have 1–2 years ahead of you, in which you have to rely on each other and to understand each other. Because both of you are facing challenges, they with the delivery of the promises, you with your second thoughts and uncertainties, because the project is not completed yet. Between mature and logical people, with investor and entrepreneurial and management experience, with an ongoing communication between parties, things are more facile. Well, in my case, I think we (client and developer) have walked and we are still walking together along this path, successfully, I think both of us being convinced that — like in the Liverpool famous anthem — “you’ll never walk alone”.
